Get To Know Me
I am Gia, founder of Infinity Glass Recycling. I have always had an interest in environmental causes, especially recycling. My family and I were able to recycle our waste glass through curbside recycling until 2018, when glass was no longer accepted in the single stream recycling offered by Gwinnett County! After that, the only options available were to either drive down to a drop off site more than 30 mins away or to just throw glass in the trash, which then ends up in a landfill. Glass can be infinitely recycled and does not belong in a landfill. I decided to do something about it and that’s how Infinity Glass Recycling was born. We are a Georgia 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on helping bridge the gap between people who want to recycle their glass in order to do their part to save our raw materials, lessen the demand for energy, and support our local Georgia economy, but just don't have a convenient way to do so. Did you know that Atlanta is home to many sustainability focused organizations. You can read all about it on my blog.
On my journey to understand more about all the ways we can help our one and only planet earth, I have learned a lot. I share my newfound knowledge & passion on my blog.
